Board reviews options for 161 kV Grindstone–Perche Creek transmission line; staff favors Vawter School Rd. route

At the February 9, 2026 Water and Light Advisory Board work session, staff presented two route options for a proposed 161 kV overhead transmission line between Perche Creek and Grindstone substations and recommended the Vawter School Rd.–Grindstone route as the best overall option.
