Bicycle & Pedestrian Commission reviews CoMo to Zero data, railbanking, I‑70 project, and CATSO unfunded needs

Meeting held Feb 18, 2026 (7:00 PM) in Conference Room 1A. Commissioners approved the agenda and amended minutes. Staff reports covered CoMo to Zero crash data (no fatalities so far; 4 serious crashes, 6 serious injuries), High Injury Network outreach, Complete Streets progress, and a completed comfort-level map. Commissioners reported on a Feb 12 railbanking public meeting and upcoming CoMo to Zero action planning. Old business focused on I‑70 P4A (public hearings scheduled Mar 2 and Mar 4; comments due Mar 25) and updates to the CATSO unfunded needs list. Motions passed to add a sidewalk along I‑70 NW outer road (Rt E to Perche Creek Bridge) and an extension of the Harmony Creek Trail to the unfunded needs list. Next meeting: Mar 18, 2026.
