Committee on Economic, Capital and Technology Development — January 13, 2026: Appointments, Interim SSA Providers, and Class 6(b) Tax Incentives

On January 13, 2026 the Chicago City Council Committee on Economic, Capital and Technology Development met. The committee passed four appointment items (including appointments to the Community Development Commission and Special Service Area commissions) and introduced ordinances designating the Greater Southwest Development Corporation as interim service provider for Special Service Area No. 3 and Special Service Area No. 59-2022.
