City Council meeting approves multiple grants and resolutions; refers police and public health collective bargaining appropriations to Ways & Means
At the November 19, 2025 City Council meeting President Louijeune chaired. The Council adopted the November 5 minutes; acted on multiple grant acceptances and in-kind donations (including elder services, climate and workforce grants, forensic improvements, and holiday food donations); passed an ordinance draft establishing a Transgender, Gender-diverse, Intersex, and LGBTQIA2S+ Oversight Commission; approved several petitions and resolutions; and referred police and public health collective bargaining appropriation orders to the Committee on Ways and Means. The meeting included multiple committee reports, items assigned for further action, and personnel appointments under suspension of the rules.
