Council Allows Potential Redevelopment Assignment

By a 4-2 vote, the council approved a resolution recognizing that the redevelopment agreement may permit assignment of up to 100% of the redeveloper’s interest to Greystar Development East, L.L.C. or a subsidiary, subject to the agreement’s terms. The council also adopted new fire-prevention and dwelling-inspection requirements and approved an ordinance amendment covering the purchase of an alcotest machine.
