Affordable housing project moves toward Town Meeting

The proposed NHP Foundation affordable housing project received conditional approval for Community Preservation Act funds, but it still needs Town Meeting approval and an executed purchase-and-sale agreement. The corporation also voted unanimously to recommend Beth Maroney as chair, while negotiations continued and an appraisal of the State School property was expected the following week.
