Council Sets Direction on Transit and Housing

The Council directed staff to support bicycle and pedestrian use of the Dumbarton Corridor while opposing bus rapid transit under the current SB 79 framework. It also deferred action on housing at the Gilmore House site until the March 2028 Housing Element check-in and ended efforts to pursue a city charter measure.
