Ann Arbor Public Art Commission re-elects officers, names Golden Paintbrush winners, and affirms bylaws; advances 2026 Annual Plan work

The Ann Arbor Public Art Commission met January 14, 2026. Commissioners approved the consent agenda, elected Mary Thiefels as Chair and Sarah Fuller as Vice Chair for 2026, awarded the 2025 Golden Paintbrush Award to five projects, completed the annual bylaws review and chose to keep bylaws unchanged for 2026, and discussed development of the 2026 Annual Plan with next steps for staff and working groups to refine draft language and coordinate with the CIP and fundraising efforts.
