Park Advisory Commission approves MEDC grant amendment for Bicentennial Park splash pad; receives Barton Dam and DDA updates
The Ann Arbor Park Advisory Commission met electronically on October 21, 2025 at 4:00 PM. Seven commissioners were present (Skylis, Marsan, Watson, Radina, Perlowski, Cavataio, O'Connell); two were absent (Montague, Bush). The commission approved the agenda and the August 19, 2025 minutes (forwarded to City Council, due back 11/6/2025). Presentations included a Barton Dam update (Glen Wiczorek) and a DDA update (Amber Miller, Maura Thompson, Oliver Kiley). Parks Manager Josh Landefeld provided the manager's update. The commission unanimously approved a resolution recommending amendment of the Michigan Economic Development Corporation grant agreement to advance the Bicentennial Park splash pad. No public commentary was received.
