Alexandria City Council approves housing financing, HUD plans, and multiple grants; adopts electronic participation resolution

At the April 28, 2026 City Council Legislative Meeting in Council Chambers (Del Pepper Community Resource Center), Council adopted an electronic participation resolution, endorsed two proclamations, approved grant applications for the USDA Summer Food Service Program and the Adopt‑A‑Park litter control program, advanced the FY2026 ordinance on first reading, authorized ARHA revenue bonds for The Ladrey rehabilitation, and approved the Draft FY2027–FY2031 Consolidated Plan and FY2027 Action Plan for HUD funding.
