City Council adopts advisory board ordinance, approves appointments, and passes fire-rescue staffing amendment

At the March 2, 2026 City Council meeting the Council passed O-26-11 (establishing the African American Advisory Board) as amended, passed R-26-4 on Albuquerque Fire Rescue minimum staffing, confirmed multiple mayoral appointments/reappointments, approved an Aviation Department contract, granted a zoning appeal for a projecting wall sign, received quarterly reports, and held an executive session.
