City Council meeting summary
The City Council approved the consent agenda and several resolutions and ordinances, including acceptance of public sculptures, a lease for TSA space, a network services contract, and changes to a board’s composition. Council approved an abandonment of portions of Ross Avenue requested by McMurry University and approved multiple zoning actions (including a Planned Development at 256 East Beltway and a large PDD at Caldwell Road). The Council adopted an increase to how water metering affects sewer charges and lowered the school-zone speed limit in front of Crockett Early Headstart. A proposed rezoning to allow townhomes at 3035 Buffalo Gap Road failed. One appointment to the Landmarks Commission was made.
